2024 Open Dates + Hours
Our 2024 Dates and Hours can be found below. If you haven't ordered or visited us before we highly recommend you read the important notes regarding WALKUP SALES below so you understand how we operate in the Spring. Having an order and pickup appointment setup ahead of time will almost always lead to a better experience than just "stopping by". If you'd like to review a handout that is provided to new customers it can be found here.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
We want everyone to have a successful and enjoyable experience when dealing with us. There are a few important things to be aware of though:
We are a Wholesale Nursery offering wholesale pricing. Our minimums are 20 total trees and 10 per variety.
We take orders 365 days a year. Many of our customers in 2024 have had their orders in for months (or in some cases years).
We DO carry many native varieties of trees and shrubs at extremely competitive prices (around 125 different varieties this year).
We DO NOT carry many fruit trees like apples, pears, plums, and peaches. The few we do carry are geared towards deer and wildlife.
We DO NOT stock any potted / larger trees – we are 100% a bare root nursery.
We DO NOT carry any specialty trees (called cultivars). So no Autumn Blaze Maple, Crimson King, anything like that.
We DO NOT sell individual trees one or two at a time. For walkup customers we make exceptions, but to be eligible for wholesale pricing you must order in quantities of 10 or more. Prices increase dramatically if you do not meet our minimums.
WALKUP SALES:
Starting in 2024 we will be offering limited walkup sales (we did not allow any in the past). There are a few nurseries like us, but we are the only one who will be offering walkup sales this year. We always love seeing new faces, but we will see how it goes this year and evaluate going forward whether we continue with it. Here are a few items to be aware of in respect to walkup sales:
We are a wholesale bare root nursery. We do not normally sell individual trees one or two at a time. For walkup customers we make exceptions, but to be eligible for wholesale pricing you must order in quantities of 10 or more. Prices increase dramatically if you do not meet our minimums. Those prices are clearly posted along with all available inventory at our location.
We open for the year March 28th, 2024. Not all stock is available day one though - we dig on a many different schedules. Early on in the year very few things are available for walkup sales. As we go through April more and more items become available.
We've been taking orders for this Spring since June 1st, 2023. You can view the availability on our website, but please be aware that many items sell out well before Spring. You'll see them sitting there in packages, but those are customer orders waiting to be picked up. We have a large board of available inventory posted on site. By the time we open for the year we are usually 90%+ sold out. This coming Spring it's looking even higher than that.
Many of our customers have had their orders in for months (in some cases years). During spring, order packaging and fulfillment takes precedence over walkup sales. All of these customers have pickup appointments and many of them have driven hours and from different states to pickup their orders. So we don't delay them when they show up for pickups.
For payment we take all forms of payment you have ever heard of (cash, check, Paypal, Venmo, etc...), but we do not take credit or debit cards.
Trees are sold and graded by size and year class. There will be example trees sitting out so you can see examples of what is available, but orders are pulled from climate controlled crates and areas of the warehouse. Customers do not pick their own stock. Everybody is always happy with the quality we have, but only employee's pull orders.
You will have a much better experience if you place an order ahead of time with us. That way you will know the exact costs and will be able to set a pickup appointment where your order will be ready and waiting. Inventory changes very quickly in the Spring - we dig and stock from many different locations so things can be in stock one minute and out of stock the next. If you want to stop out to check it out by all means do. But if you are coming from a long ways we highly recommend you have an order in place so you are not disappointed when something is sold out or unavailable at that given moment. If an order you setup is in stock we are almost always able to have it ready same day (usually as quickly as you'd like it to be ready).
